Range:

Malaysia, Thailand, Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi, and smaller nearby islands.

Habitat:

Upper canopy of tropical lowland forests, cultivated areas, and gardens.

Activity:

Diurnal. At night they rest in tree hollows or in nests of leaves and twigs.

Diet:

In the wild, they feed on fruit, nuts, seeds, flowers, insects, and bird eggs. They’ve also been known to feed occasionally on small reptiles and young birds. Zoo diet includes root vegetables, fruit, greens, rodent chow, and mixed nuts.
