Range:

Southern and Southeastern Australia and Tasmania and introduced into New Zealand.

Habitat:

Rosellas spend most of their time in tree tops except when foraging. They adapt well to civilization, living in and near cities and agricultural areas. They will visit farmer’s seed crops, orchards, vineyards, and backyard gardens.

Activity:

Diurnal.

Diet:

Mixture of grains, grasses, fruits, berries, and insects.
