Join Zoo Boise for Claus ‘N’ Paws, a FREE admission day on Saturday, December 7 from 10am – 5pm (last admission at 4:30pm). This is our way to thank our community for supporting the zoo and our wildlife conservation mission.

Claus ‘N Paws is happening rain or shine.

Santa Claus will visit the zoo for photo opportunities (for a small donation which benefits zoo programs).  There will also be holiday crafts, face painting, and don’t miss the animal residents receiving their holiday gifts. Santa will be at the zoo for photos from 11am – 4pm.

Animal Enrichment (holiday gifts) Schedule:

10:30am – Lions & Sloth Bear
11:00am – Snow Leopard (lower exhibit) & Hyenas
11:30am – African Crested Porcupine & N. American Porcupine
12:00pm – Coati & Komodo Dragon
12:30pm – African Wild Dogs & Maned Wolf
1:00pm – Meerkats & Bat-Eared Fox
1:30pm – Warthogs & Red Pandas
2:00pm – Nyala & Ocelot
2:30pm – Zebra & Anteater
3:00pm – Kingsnake & Plated Lizard
3:30pm – Patas Monkey & Spider Monkey
4:00pm – Baboons

As much as we love pets, no pets are allowed inside the zoo except for ADA service animals. Companion animals are not allowed.

FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE:

For Claus ‘N Paws there will be a free shuttle service provided by Boise Parks and Recreation to get to and from the zoo. The shuttle will pick passengers up near the softball fields in Ann Morrison Park and take them directly to the zoo. You must enter the Ann Morrison Park Drive entrance to park next to the shuttle pickup. Signage will be posted to point users to the shuttle stops. Shuttles will run every 15 to 20 minutes.

This is one of our largest events of the year, attracting thousands of visitors. A booth space is only $100.
