Galactic Day at Zoo Boise

Come experience a zoo in a galaxy far far away!
Activities include photo-ops with Star Wars characters with the 501st Legion, Band Wars – Star Wars themed entertainment, Q&A with actors from your favorite movies and TV shows, explore and learn about animal superpowers, movie themed exhibit walk, Galactic themed enrichments for the animals, temporary tattoos and face painting, and much more!
We welcome you to dress as your favorite superhero, princess, or Galactic character! Admission for adults is $10, kids (3-11) are $7, seniors (62 & over) are $8, and children 2 and under are FREE. Friends of Zoo Boise pass holders are always free (with pass and photo id) and will have a special entrance gate. Don’t forget to invite all your friends! The fun will be strong with this one!

Star Wars Abridged – A hilarious Star Wars Reenactment
3:00pm – Simplot Multi-Purpose Room
Join us as we quickly move through all the Star Wars movies with just two actors in thirty minutes. It’s a breakneck race through characters and plotlines that will leave you rolling in the aisles. Schedule is subject to change without notification. There is very limited seating and will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.

COSTUME NOTICE
Due to animal safety, you may be asked to remove full head costume pieces in certain areas of the Zoo. Lightsabers are allowed, but cannot be used over fences or animal barriers. Any costume blasters or guns are not allowed unless you are with the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, or another approved group.
