Reopening Guidelines

Zoo Boise is open daily, 10:00am – 5:00pm. In order to protect you and your family and to keep our animals safe and healthy, there will be a number of new guidelines that will make your next zoo visit a little different. To reduce lines and allow for physical distancing, we have implemented a timed entry process. All visitors, including members, are required to reserve a ticket for a specific time slot to enter the zoo before arrival.

Face coverings are optional when visiting Zoo Boise, except when participating in animal encounters or visiting indoor buildings that are currently open.

Education Programs

Since children remain largely unprotected from COVID-19, we will continue to require employees and participants in programs geared toward children to wear face coverings, even when outdoors (with some exceptions including when eating, drinking, or swimming).

Advance tickets required

Advance tickets are required for all guests, including members. Tickets are available up to one week in advance.
