- Conservation Circle memberships
The Zoo Boise Conservation Circle is a group of philanthropic individuals who not only ensure the vitality of Zoo Boise, but also ensure the future of wild animals. Members of this group share a deep passion for wildlife preservation, habitat conservation, education, animal care and Zoo Boise. In addition to annual memberships at Zoo Boise, Conservation Circle members will experience the zoo in unique ways with opportunities to go behind the scenes to meet our animals and their keepers, learn more about important conservation topics, and have fun at several exclusive events throughout the year.

Join your favorite animals for an unforgettable experience at the zoo!
You’ll enjoy tastes of wine from around the world, while also experiencing VIP animal talks tours, and experiences. Light appetizers will be provided.

- Adopt An Animal
Add a member of our family to yours today! Become a part of our wonderful and wild zoo family. As a zoo parent, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you’re helping Zoo Boise and making a contribution to the welfare of the many animals that call Zoo Boise home. Administered by the Friends of Zoo Boise, Adopt an Animal funds are used to provide special animal care, enrichment, special diets, minor exhibit improvements, and zoo keeper training.
- Purchase a Commemorative Tile
This is your chance to have your name or someone specials name on a tile at the zoo. We have a special opportunity for you to purchase a wall tile that will be placed near the red panda exhibit at Zoo Boise.

Zoo Boise doesn’t run on admission prices alone. We depend on the generous support of individuals, foundations and corporations to help make Zoo Boise one of the best small zoos in the country.

Zoo Boise offers gift cards for daily admission and zoo programs offered through the City of Boise! City of Boise Parks and Recreation gift cards may be purchased in person at the following locations during normal business hours*:

*Visit City of Boise facilities page to see hours of operation for each location.Gift cards redeemed at Zoo Boise may only be used toward daily zoo admission or education programs offered through the City of Boise (visit the activity registration page for a list of programs and to register online). Gift cards may also be redeemed at any City of Boise Parks and Recreation class, program, or rental offered through Fort Boise Community Center, City Recreation Office, Parks and Recreation Administrative Office, or Idaho IceWorld. Please note that gift cards cannot be used to purchase the following activities or merchandise at Zoo Boise: Zootique Gift Shop items, zoo concessions, animal encounters, Conservation Cruise, Zoo Farm, Behind the Scenes Tours, Adopt an Animal, memberships, photo booth, Wine Safaris, Painting with the Penguins, or any other activity or event offered through Friends of Zoo Boise (FoZB) or Service Systems Associates (SSA).

- Name a Cockroach after Someone
Show your love by naming a Zoo Boise cockroach after that special someone, your best friend, or your favorite family member. After purchasing, we will email you the certificate. The cost is only $10!
- Paint with Penguins
Have you ever wondered how penguins paint? Wonder no more. Join us for a special evening at Zoo Boise.
Paint with Penguins is a special fundraiser for Zoo Boise. Only 10 spots are available for each date. Dates are subject to change if the penguins are molting (shedding old feathers) or nesting. Refunds will be available if the date changes, if event is cancelled due to COVID-19 mandates, or if you are ill. Otherwise, tickets for Paint with Penguins are nonrefundable.

Paint with Penguins – Private Party
Private events may be purchased but are not available for scheduling until after breeding season is complete.
Let Zoo Boise host up to 10 people for a private paint and sip with our Magellanic penguins. To register over the phone, please call 208-608-7764. Paint with Penguins Private Parties are nonrefundable.

The Zootique Gift Shop carries a great assortment of fun and educational souvenirs, clothing, toys and more, with a wildlife and environmental theme. You don’t need to purchase a zoo admission ticket to visit the gift shop, just enter the gift shop from their door.
Friends of Zoo Boise members receive a 10% discount on all Zootique purchases! A portion of all sales go to support the Friends of Zoo Boise.
