Finalists Named for Interactive Animal Masks Art

Friends of Zoo Boise invited three finalists to submit design proposals to design, fabricate and coordinate the installation of interactive animal masks for the new Gorongosa National Park Exhibit.

Each finalist was provided a $250 stipend by the Boise City Department of Arts and History to develop a design proposal. The mask designs are inspired by the diverse range of species found in Gorongosa National Park and encourage Zoo Boise visitor interaction.

We invite our visitors, donors, and members of the public to review the proposals and share your comments. You can vote for your favorite when you visit the zoo or you can review the proposals online at http://www.boiseartsandhistory.org/blog/2018/04/19/new-zoo-boise-gorongosa-exhibit-request-for-public-comment/. You can also submit comments until June 1 by EMAIL.
