Zoo Boise is hosting a free admission day on Saturday, December 7. Claus ‘N Paws is the zoo’s way of thanking the community for supporting the zoo and its wildlife conservation mission. Zoo Boise will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with last admission into the zoo at 4:30 p.m.
At Claus ‘N Paws, visitors will get a chance to meet Santa and watch the zoo animals enjoy holiday gifts and enrichment. Santa will be at the zoo for photos (for a small fee) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
To make transportation easier to and from this popular event, there will be a free shuttle service provided by Boise Parks and Recreation to get to and from the zoo on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The shuttle will pick passengers up near the softball fields in Ann Morrison Park and take them directly to the zoo. You must enter the park via the Ann Morrison Park Drive entrance to park next to the shuttle pickup. Signage will be posted to point users to the shuttle stop. The free shuttles will run every 15 to 20 minutes and will be available for the duration of the event.
Zoo Boise visitors are also welcome to park in Ann Morrison Park and walk to Zoo Boise.
Please remember, parking at Julia Davis Park around the zoo is available on a first come, first served basis and is not reservable.
Claus ‘N Paws is presented by U.S. Bank and sponsored by 94.9 The River, 100.3 The X, J105 Idaho’s Rock Station, 107.1 KHITS, the Idaho Statesman, and Treasure Valley Ford Stores.
