During the extreme heat wave, Zoo Boise will be installing temporary misting stations around the zoo to help keep guests cool. Zoo Boise is encouraging guests to drink extra water and to contact a staff member immediately if they feel ill. Also, some animals may be off exhibit to protect them from the extreme heat. Part of every admission and membership to Zoo Boise goes directly to help protect animals in the wild, we just want to make sure that every visit is as safe and comfortable as possible.
Carousel and animal encounters will be closed anytime the temperature reaches 100 degrees or higher.
