Zoo Boise and families throughout the Treasure Valley were heartbroken in April when Julius Longfellow, one of two giraffes at Zoo Boise, had to be euthanized. While Julius lived at Zoo Boise, he was the community’s giraffe.
Our remaining giraffe, 7-year old Jabari, would love to have a friend. Giraffes are herd animals and Jabari needs a friend to keep him company. We are thrilled to share that, with your help, we’ll be bringing this handsome fellow named Tafari to Boise! Can you help us bring Tafari to Boise?
What will your donation be used for? Your donation will go directly to all costs of acquiring a new giraffe friend for Jabari. As you might imagine, transportation is very customized to make sure giraffes are moved safely from one home to another. We will send regular updates for every donor we have an email address for on the campaign and our work to bring Tafari to Boise.
If you donate $50 or more, you will receive an invitation for a special donors-only night to meet Tafari!
