animal story

Zoo Boise accommodates both people and animals with different abilities. Kinkajou Chewie needed to have one of his legs amputated in 2020 for medical purposes. Now keepers make sure he has multiple types of perches and platforms to better use his entire home. Chewie also goes through daily training to monitor the strength and ability of his other three limbs. He is just one example of many animals at Zoo Boise who get special accommodations for their differing abilities.
