- Monthly Giving
The newest and easiest way to support your zoo!
Zoo Boise connects our visitors with animals to inspire and involve our community in the conservation of wildlife worldwide. Zoo Boise is the home to more than 750 animals representing more than 100 different species from around the globe.
For as little as $10 a month, you can join a group of dedicated supporters committed to making an ongoing, monthly contribution. Your monthly gifts will provide the dependable income we need to deliver the vision of connecting our visitors with animals and inspiring our community every day.
You choose your monthly giving amount when you sign up. That amount will be charged at the same time every month, based on when you make your first donation. Spreading your support throughout the year is a really convenient way to fit your donations into your personal budget. You can change the amount or cancel at any time. You can choose to pay via credit card or your bank account.
Monthly giving is paperless. We’ll send you a monthly electronic receipt and an annual printed statement in January summarizing your tax-deductible gifts, so deducting your donations is easy.
Monthly giving helps sustain Zoo Boise’s mission all year long. You’ll provide a reliable stream of support to supporting your zoo, our education and volunteer programs, zoo commissary (the zoo chefs), and conservation.
Help us to continue to lead the way in connecting visitors with animals to inspire our community. Make a monthly donation today!
Why become a monthly giver?
Here’s what a few of our currently monthly givers said:
Jan: I love that the zoo has partnered across the globe for the conservation of wildlife. Every time I ride the greenbelt and see people stopping to point at the giraffes, it’s a reminder that we are the stewards for wildlife and the planet. I give to the zoo to be part of that legacy.
Tom: I think there are two reasons we became monthly donors. First, it’s automatic, so I don’t have to worry that I might forget to send my contribution. Second, I expect it’s helpful to Zoo Boise to have a predictable contribution income stream.
Dale: My children are older now, but I believe it is important to have a healthy and interesting zoo in our city. It increases our quality of living. Also, I love taking my grandchildren to the zoo when they visit Boise.
Julie and Gary B.: We don’t have young children anymore, but they always loved the zoo. Our twelve grandchildren visit and love the zoo. We became monthly donors to help the zoo continue to grow as well as provide great programs for all the young ones growing up in the valley. It’s a great way to learn about the animal’s origin, their plight, and which ones are becoming extinct so they will understand there is something they can do to change these circumstances.
Friends of Zoo Boise greatly appreciates the support of our Board of Directors.
